Anil K. Antony (also known as Anil Antony) is an Indian politician, social worker, entrepreneur, national secretary, prabhari of Meghalaya and Nagaland and national spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is the elder son of veteran Congress leader and former Union Defence Minister A.K. Antony and his wife, Elizabeth Antony (a lawyer).

Born on December 17, 1985, in Kerala, India, Anil Antony grew up in a prominent political family.

He completed his early education in Kerala and earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Industrial Engineering from the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, graduating in 2007. He later pursued higher studies abroad, obtaining a Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, USA, in 2009. He has also received training in Artificial Intelligence from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Before entering active politics, Anil worked in the technology and consulting sectors. He is the founder and Managing Director of Pythia Data Pvt Ltd. (a data-related company) and serves as a director or associated with Vajra Consulting Pte. Limited (Singapore). He has also been involved in social work and non-profit initiatives, including as Vice President and a member of the board of trustees of Navoothan (a non-profit organization).

In April 2023, Anil formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in New Delhi, in the presence of senior leaders like Union Minister Piyush Goyal. He has since risen quickly within the party, serving as National Secretary, National Spokesperson for the BJP, and Prabhari (in-charge) for states including Meghalaya and Nagaland.

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Anil contested from the Pathanamthitta constituency in Kerala on a BJP ticket, marking his electoral debut. He holds a postgraduate qualification. 

Anil Antony is recognized for his tech-savvy background, advocacy on issues like national security and development, and his transition from a Congress family legacy to the BJP. He remains active on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) under @anilkantony, where he engages on political and national matters. He has received recognitions such as the Munich Young Leaders 2023 fellowship from the Munich Security Conference and the Rajiv Gandhi National Excellence Award for Corona Warriors in 2021.
