Mr. Anshuman Tripathi is a member of the Indian government’s empowered committee on Hi-tech manufacturing and the former member of the National Security Advisory Board. His present research is in cognitive warfare.

He is a Sloan Fellow from Stanford Graduate School of Business and specializes in creating entrepreneurial ecosystems worldwide in semiconductors, cyber-physical systems, aerospace & defense. He started his career at the R&D Division of STMicroelectronics, Ltd., and holds a US patent in semiconductors. During graduate school, he researched at the Center for Embedded and Cyber-physical Systems, University of California, Irvine. His research on hardware trojans was also acknowledged by the US DoD. As a chip designer, his designed chips have accumulative sales of over a billion US dollars. On the M&A side, his experience is close to another billion US dollars.

Mr Tripathi is also the former head of business consulting for the Americas for Starburst Accelerator, then the world’s largest aerospace and defense startup accelerator. He was part of the leadership that showcased a hundred startups at the Paris Air Show in 2017 and is also a thought leader in flying cars and drone taxis. While at Stanford University, he was part of the team of students that started StartX, Stanford University’s startup accelerator and sold startups to the likes of Apple, Inc. He was also a panellist for the US government’s seed fund for startups, the SBIR program for over a decade.

In India, he has undertaken multiple projects which include the establishment of electronic system forensic labs and was the chief mentor for the IAF’s Meharbaba Swarm Drone competition. He is also a board member of SBI’s private equity subsidiary SBI Ventures Ltd.
